WHICH PRODUCTS SHOULD I AVOID USING IF I'M PREGNANT OR BREAST-FEEDING?

In compliance with current European regulations, all CODAGE products are safe for use during pregnancy. But as a precautionary approach, we would like to give you a few indications in regards to the following products.
Several studies have shown that certain essential oils should not be recommended during this period, such as chamomile, caraway and lemongrass for example. Therefore, we’ll prefer not to recommend the usage of any of the following products that contain these essential oils:
Draining Oil
Relaxing Oil
Stimulating Oil

Additionally, skin is prone to change during this period, and each skin type will react differently, especially the most sensitive skins. Few more “active” substances can be used but should be handled with care. This caution particularly applies to ingredient with exfoliating properties found in :
Peeling-Pro Mask (Acid Glycolic)
Perfectrice Lotion (Acid Salicylic)
Peeling Lotion (Acid Glycolic)
Purifying Lotion (Acid Salicylic)
Micro-Peeling Mask (Acid Salicylic)
Serum n°08 (Retinoid)
The Night Cream Magistrale (Acid Glycolic, Retinoid)

While each ingredient has been tested and is considered safe for topical application, CODAGE products have not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Finally, if your patient has any concerns, we recommend advising them to always consult a healthcare professional.
