# Serum N°04 and Serum N°08: can they be used together to combat pigmentation spots?

You can use these 2 serums in combination.

They both treat pigmentation spots and are therefore highly effective together.
Just make sure you apply [Serum N°04](https://www.codageparis.com/fr/products/serum-n04-anti-spots-and-lightener) (water-based) before [Serum N°08](https://www.codageparis.com/fr/products/serum-n08-night-rejuvenation) (oil-based). This way, you won't prevent the active ingredients in the water-based serum from being absorbed.

Please note that Serum N°08 should only be applied in the evening, and we recommend that you apply a sunscreen ([Serum N°09 sunscreen SPF50+](https://www.codageparis.com/fr/products/serum-n-09) for example) every morning after applying Serum N°08 the night before.
