# My skin tends to be shiny and I am prone to blemishes and/or redness. What routine would you recommend?

For skin prone to shine and imperfections, we recommend a complete routine tailored to your skin type, including the following products and steps:

* When cleansing your skin, use a gentle cleanser such as our [Cleansing Gel](https://www.codageparis.com/products/cleansing-gel), specially formulated for oily or blemish-prone skin. Its formula, free from sodium laureth sulphate and soap, soothes and regulates excess sebum. Be sure to gently cleanse your face using circular motions twice a day to remove excess sebum and impurities.
